The NVFCA is a part of the Interboro Mutual Aid Group with primary responsibility for conducting an annual parade each year to mark Fire Prevention Week and promote the prevention of fires in the Northern Valley in Bergen County, NJ. 

The 2008 parade was held in Haworth, NJ this year. 

The 2009 parade will be held in Cresskill, NJ on October 11, 2008.  In 2009 the NVFCA will be looking to expand the emphasis on fire prevention during the parade and during Fire Prevention Week.
