June 20th, 2009 - The Bergen County Juvenile Fire Prevention Program will be hosting a training session for new fire safety educators for its program at the Care Plus facility in Paramus where the program is based.  Contact Steve LaFrance at the Bergen County Juvenile Fire Prevention Program for more details.

Tuesday, July 7, 2009 - The Middlesex Co. Fire Marshal is hosting a one-evening training class on Engineered Fire Streams at the Middlesex Co. Fire Academy.  The class goes from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  From 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. there will be hot dogs and soft drinks provided complements of area TFT dealers.  The speaker will be Jim Cottrell of Cotrell Associates.  He is the TFT and National Foam eastern US factory agents and product development consultants. There is no charge for attending but the Middlesex Co. Fire Marshal would like to have advanced notice of a head count.  You may email him with a count at mike.gallagher@co.middlesex.nj.us
